Concrete pools in Andalusia: construction and cost guide
From licence to first swim in 6-10 weeks: real costs by size, gunite versus shuttered concrete, and design choices that cut running costs.

What does a concrete pool cost?
A complete, legalised 8×4 m gunite pool: €22,000–35,000. Infinity edges from €35,000. Includes excavation, shell, lining, filtration, lighting and coping; machine access and rocky ground are the usual price movers.
Gunite or shuttered concrete?
Gunite creates a joint-free monolithic shell — stronger and shape-free; shuttering is valid and slightly cheaper for simple rectangles. On expansive or sloping ground, engineered gunite is our clear recommendation. Details: concrete pools.
How do you cut running costs at design time?
Salt electrolysis, a variable-speed pump and a cover: together they halve annual maintenance. A heat pump stretches the season from April to November — combinable with the home’s heat-pump system.
